Freemasonry embodies the ideals embedded in the constitutional declaration of belief in a Supreme Being. The three tenets of Freemasonry are Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth. The Masonic initiatic path consists of "degrees" which represent a beautiful system of morality, veiled in allegory, illustrated by symbols.

It is also “A Way of Life.” The Brotherhood of man under the Fatherhood of God is Primary – this means that its activities should always be designed to promote Friendship, Morality, and Brotherly Love. Many men have wondered just what the Masons are all about and what it means to become a member of the World's Oldest Fraternal Organization. Masonry is a unique institution that has been a major part of community life in America for over two hundred and fifty (250) years. It is America’s Largest and Oldest fraternity, and one that continues to be an important part of many men’s Personal Lives, Mental, and Spiritual Growth.

Masons are an organization of men bound together with a philosophy of Moral Standards, mutual understanding and Brotherhood in which All Men meet on the Same Level as Equals no matter what your personal, religious, political, financial, or educational status or affiliation.

Although Freemasonry is not a religion, its emphasis on the Fatherhood of God ensures that the Brotherhood of Man follows naturally. This coupled with the obligation to abide by the Golden Rule, particularly with a fellow Mason, makes for one of the strongest bonds of society. When you meet other Masons, the odds are very high indeed, that they will treat you as you would like to be treated...

What is Hope? The bible says, "We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by Hope that you should constantly bear in mind your work of faith and labor of love..." (1 Thess. 1:3). To Hope, is to anticipate something good to come in the future. expectancy, to await, to long for, anticipation, expectation, aspiration, desire future, coming. One does not Hope for what one already has, though one can hope it continues or ends. God's followers are Hoping for God's will to be done on Earth as in Heaven...It drives our actions and goals -- if we weren't hoping that we'd succeed by achieving our goals, why bother to strive for them, for what good would it do? If anything gets accomplished, it is through Hope. When we support freedom and justice, we send out ripples of Hope. It's very hard to kill, like the resurrection, it has a way of coming back to life. With the lens of Hope, we can see right through life's quandaries. Hope looks forward and finds for us the signs of the past and the present so that we can Hope for the future. What is now is not what was, and what is now is not what will be, meaning all things are possible. Hope is the belief that an end will come to the road of suffering, injustice, and falseness and good will

always prevail.

What is Charity? The use of the word Love is the more general term or translation often used in the Bible for the word Charity. With that in mind, Love/Charity is found in passages from (1 Corinthians 13) 9 times.

Tyndale's New Testament Bible of 1526 was written 85 years before the King James translation of the Bible, and they used the word Charity throughout their interpretation of the Bible. One could deduce that the King James translators knew this and decided Love might have fit just as well or better in the place of Charity in some places. Rather, they purposely chose charity as the word to use in some places and Love in others interchangeably. Historical evidence indicates they saw an importance in distinguishing some of the uses of Agape Love in a specific way. We will look at scripture to see if we can discover what specific nuances of the word are being brought out when charity is used verses Love.
